Sister Annie Waite is a highly skilled specialist in laser hair reduction with nearly two decades of experience. She joined at the prestigious Royal Free Hospital in 1996 and in 2005 she became a dermatology out-patient sister, gaining recognition for her precise technique and patient-focused care. Annie combines her deep knowledge of laser technology with a compassionate approach, ensuring optimal results and comfort for every patient she treats. She was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Times Series on May 18, 2012, recognising her outstanding contributions to the field and her unwavering commitment to excellence.

Charlotte Wharton

Charlotte completed her nursing degree at Buckinghamshire New University in 2008 and started her career in the critical care units at Harefield Hospital.  Developing an interest in aesthetic medicine, Charlotte left the NHS in 2012. She joined a well known aesthetic clinic group where she undertook training in skin care, laser and injectables. Charlotte has a passion for skincare and giving patients confidence in their appearance. 

Treating the face as a whole to achieve natural results has become her focus and she has particularly perfected the 8 point facelift. 

As well as injectables Charlotte is trained in all laser treatments and has developed a particular interest in Rosacea and redness treatments. 

Charlotte has completed the v300 in non medical prescribing.

With a passion for aesthetics and patient care, Elizabeth is a highly trained nurse and Healthcare Assistant specialising in laser hair removal. She brings extensive experience in skincare and advanced laser treatments to help patients achieve smooth, hair-free skin safely and effectively. Known for her gentle approach and attention to detail, Elizabeth customises each treatment to suit individual skin types and hair removal goals, ensuring optimal results and comfort.

She stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in laser technology and techniques to provide safe, effective care with minimal downtime. With a commitment to patient education and satisfaction, Elizabeth is dedicated to making every visit a positive experience, building confidence and trust with each patient.

Elizabeth May

Elizabeth May is a Registered Nurse and an Independent/Supplementary Nurse Prescriber, gaining the latter qualification at King’s College London. She also has an MBA and DMS in Business Studies. Lizzie has been working within the dermatology and aesthetic field for over 17 years, and is a member of the Royal College of Nursing. Elizabeth originates from New Zealand where she trained and worked in general surgical and medical nursing.

Lizzie has a keen interest in natural, subtle, and yet effective results, specialising in advanced anti-wrinkle treatments to the upper and lower face. Dermal injectables, which sculpt and lift the chin and cheeks and  giving the lips a natural rejuvenated appearance. 

Lizzie compliments these treatments with skin surface treatments including micro needling for skin rejuvenation and treatment of scars, intense pulsed light and pulsed-dye laser for rosacea and redness and Q-switched laser for pigmentation. She has an extensive knowledge of topical preparations for the skin to compliment these treatments.

Lizzie offers the complete package of fine line and wrinkle reduction, improving volume loss and skin surface rejuvenation. She also specialises in other popular treatments including treatment for hyperhidrosis (treatment for excessive under arm perspiration), and teeth grinding.

Outside work, Lizzie enjoys gardening, traveling, and designing jewellery and interiors.

Margaret Cummings

With more than 30 years of experience in patient care, Margaret is a trusted and compassionate member of our team. She is recognised for her dedication and extensive knowledge, she brings both skill and empathy to each patient interaction, ensuring a high standard of care and support throughout each visit.

Over the years, Margaret has developed expertise in various aspects of dermatology, surgery assisting and phlebotomy, working closely with both administrative colleagues and doctors to deliver seamless, patient-centred care. She is committed to making patients feel comfortable and well cared for, assisting with treatments and procedures, and answering questions to help patients understand their care plans.

A valued team member, Margaret is known for her reliability, warmth, and dedication to patient wellness.

Dr. Mark Griffiths

Dr Griffiths is the Medical Director of The Derm Rooms.

Dr Griffiths graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2002. He went on to complete general medical training and acquired membership to the Royal College of Physicians in 2005. Following completion of specialist training in dermatology in November 2011  he was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist at the West Middlesex Hospital before moving on to the Royal Free Hospital in June 2012. He was Clinical Service Lead, governance lead and undergraduate teaching lead for Dermatology at the Royal Free Hospital, Barnet General Hospital and Chase Farm Hospital.

He has a broad range of interests including rashes and acne, moles and skin lesions, skin cancer, skin surgery, psoriasis, pigmentation disorders and hair loss. He is recognised as a trainer by the GMC and has supervised the training and development of other dermatologists who are now on the Specialist Register for Dermatology. He is past Honorary Secretary of the British Association of Dermatologists, the professional organisation which promotes the practice, teaching, training and research of dermatology to improve skin health for all people and was a member of the Therapy and Guidelines Sub-Committee.

Joseph is our Clinic Manager, and has over 12 years’ experience in private medical operations. Joseph’s role includes site management, business, operations, and marketing. He ensures our clinics are welcoming, safe, and efficient, and makes sure our team has the right tools they need to look after our patients in the best way possible.
